Don Wagner Don Wagner - Don has been involved with The Townships Project since 2007, when he volunteered his time as treasurer for the Tip to Tip for Africa fundraiser. Shortly thereafter he spent his sabbatical year working with The Townships Project in the townships of Mdantsane outside East London and Khayelitsha outside Cape Town, South Africa, helping to set up reporting for microfinance institutions funded by The Townships Project.

Don is currently an Associate Professor at the University of PEI’s School of Business. Before entering academia, Don was a tax manager at a large accounting firm. In 1994 Don returned to school to obtain his PhD, which he completed in 2000. He now teaches strategic management, international business, and introduction to business. His current research focuses on microfinance.
