Chris BudhanChris Budhan  –  Chris has very generously been The Townships Project volunteer IT consultant and web developer for the past 9 years.

In addition to his work with us, Chris is an accomplished jazz musician and festival producer originally from Charlottetown, PEI.  Chris also recently obtained his PhD in jazz bass from the University of Texas, in Austin and holds undergraduate degrees in music and business from McGill and NYU.  As a bassist, he has performed extensively with David Restivo, Alex Dean, Pat LaBarbera and others, and was a finalist in MusicFest Canada's national soloist competition. As a festival producer he presents more than 1,000 performances each summer in Eastern Canada, chiefly through City Stages, a festival he created at the age of 17.   City Stages is a highly visible summer concert series which has changed the streets of Charlottetown as well as the lives of many young musicians.
