Every year, The Townships Project holds a number of fundraising events which are supported by many, many volunteers. In some years, we've had as many as 300 volunteers working across the country on Tip to Tip for Africa, Lend to End [poverty], concerts featuring Simone Osborne, Jocelyn Pritchard (our founding chair) and others, as well as theatre nights, dinners, tea parties, cocktail parties, breakfasts etc.
If you are interested in volunteering, please consider:
- inviting Martha Deacon to speak to an association you belong to or the company you work with
- participate in and help us with our annal fundraising events, Tip to Tip for Africa (held in Prince Edward Island over Thanksgiving weekend) or Lend to End [poverty] (held in Toronto the second Thursday in May)
- propose holding your own fundraising event to our board of directors: info@thetownshipsproject.org
